Local amenities including small supermarkets, butchers, takeaways, Welsh traditional pubs, cafes, boutique shops and gift shops can be found within a short 15 minute drive away in the charming historic market town of Newcastle Emlyn. A wider range of amenities, including larger supermarkets (which will deliver), shops, cafes & restaurants can be found in either Carmarthen or Cardigan approximately a 25-minute drive or 20-minute drive away respectively. Bluebell (ref UK40259) and Snowdrop (ref UK40262, which will be ready in Spring 2024) are two beautiful cottages. Bluebell was renovated to a high standard in 2023 by the owners and situated on their working smallholding, which enjoys green fields and woodland walks from your doorstep. This really is the perfect stay for couples and small families alike and boasts your very own hot tub with very little light pollution, making this perfect for stargazers.
Bluebell has been finished to a very good standard throughout and boasts an open-plan contemporary living space with a focal wood burner and patio doors leading out to a lawned garden and covered patio area, perfect for enjoying a dip in the hot tub in all weathers. The bright and airy bedroom enjoys French doors leading to the large lawned gardens. In the evening, curl up in front of the wood burner and watch a good movie with a glass of wine.
The glistening River Teifi passes through the historic town of Newcastle Emlyn which is renowned for its fishing and water-based activities. Explore the dramatic coast of Ceredigion and discover the fantastic walks it has to offer or take a trip to the picturesque coastal resorts of New Quay and Aberaeron, which are set within tranquil fishing harbours and where dolphins can be spotted on a clear day.
