About this space
Beautiful, spacious, two-bedroom private suite. The Farmhouse is located on 50 acres of farmland in our beautiful river valley. We are directly off the Cortland I-81 exit and are 30 minutes to Cornell, Ithaca and Syracuse. We are conveniently located near Greek Peak and other local ski areas. Great location for professors, parents, students, outdoor enthusiast and anyone exploring the Finger lakes! We hope you enjoy your stay and come back again.
The space
The Farmhouse is conveniently close to town but is surrounded by cornfields and green grass. The best of both worlds!! A perfect place for a peaceful getaway, a quiet business trip and great for families traveling or meeting up with friends. The Farmhouse is original to the property dating back to the early 1800s and was one of the underground railroad homes! The house has been fully renovated top to bottom! We hope you enjoy the beautiful peace that comes with staying at an old farmhouse. This house is not a party house, and we will not tolerate illegal drugs, smoking indoors or excessive alcohol consumption. Thank you for being respectful to our property! Plenty of room to roam around, play outdoor games, enjoy God's creation, or simply to sit and enjoy the beauty.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, charming living room with a smart TV, beautiful bathroom with a combined laundry, and two large bedrooms with queen beds.
Guest access
The entire downstairs suite is yours to use during your stay! It’s completely private- just for you! It includes: two large bedrooms, full bath/ laundry, large kitchen and living room with those beautiful high farmhouse ceilings! The front porch is yours to enjoy during your stay as well. (Private Entrance) There is designated parking, labeled “Farmhouse Parking” to the left when you pull in the driveway (enough space for two cars).
Other things to note
Keyless entry is offered. Right of I-81, 5 minutes from Cortland State and right over the hill from our charming town of Homer. Ithaca and Syracuse (30 -35 minutes). Skaneateles, stunning lake front town, (20 minutes). We are the gateway to the finger lakes and are surrounded by hiking, lakes, ski mountains and farms. Lots of back roads to explore too!! Note ~ we are in the country so in the warm summer months you will encounter bugs on your car windshields, and they will sneak in open doors and surround lights that are left on.
