The area is steeped in history with its stunning architecture and heroic role it played in World War II. There are miles of walks, including the famous Viking Trail, plenty of cycle routes, three large golf courses and several nature reserves at Pegwell and Sandwich.
There are good transport connections to London by either train or bus, or visit Ashford for rail connections to enjoy a day trip to France.
