Summary: We booked the property around 9 months out from our 35th anniversary on 20 August 2024 thinking that we'd like to celebrate with an absolute open door policy to any family or friends who wanted to spend a few days with us. This property works perfectly for that--six bedrooms across two structures with a kitchen in each structure. Two bathrooms are en-suite in the main house, and one is en-suite in the guest house. The main kitchen is gigantic with an island that is more of a continent. We engaged a professional chef one night and sat nine people around the island as we watched the chef and her assistant work and still had plenty of room. During the day the pool/spa area was very popular for some respite to the heat, but a lot of us just spent time in the AC in the great room admiring the view. Speaking of the view, if you're a Paso wine fanatic like I am, it's really fun to have views of the Adelaida to one side and the Estrella and Geneseo to the other (the property actually sits on the extreme eastward edge of the Adelaida). The property is very convenient to downtown while maintaining a sense of being a haven away from noise and congestion. The decor is neutral tending toward clean whites with wine country accents. If you don't really know how many of your party are going to show on which days and how long they'll stay, this property is a much better idea than hotel rooms.
