With eight sumptuous bedrooms, seven of which have en-suite bath or shower rooms, and exquisite reception rooms boasting lavish, period-style decor, the grand Somerset retreat is situated near Hambridge, 15.5 miles from Taunton. Langport, with its selection of independent shops and restaurants, is 5.5 miles away. Ideal for long country walks, it is 11.5 miles from the beautiful Blackdown Hills and 18 miles from the Quantock Hills. Guests may, however, simply prefer to unwind and spend quality time together within the remarkable house and its gorgeous grounds, which include a gym, sauna and hot tub. On the floor above, there are two more super-king-size bedrooms, both with zip-and-link beds, allowing them to be made up as twins instead by prior request.
