Positive: It was in a quiet (somewhat because some construction traffic early one day), the yard was very big and fenced so it was wonderful for my dog. It had a good deck to sit and relax outside. The hosts are very friendly, accommodating and responsive. There is minimal clutter and it is nicely decorated. They provide some board/card games to play, which is very considerate. The hot water gets very hot 🥰
Negative: The road to the cabin is not car friendly (not paved-only dirt and gravel) and the gravel was loose so the construction trucks made a large pile of rocks in the center of the road where they backed up and pulled forward multiple times, in two different spots of the road. Those piles weren’t there on the way up to the cabin I was releasing rocks from my undercarriage ALL THE WAY HOME. SUV HIGHLY recommended should be in the description. So grateful it didn’t rain or I would have been STUCK. The ceiling was very short concerning the tub. I am 5’5” tall and it was less than a foot from my head. The kitchen was minimally stocked (plates, bowls, cups, utensils, one pot, one pan- medium sized) but no baking sheet, no large bowls to clean food (salad for example) and not enough to cook multiple things at once if needed. No dish soap to fulfill the request to wash the dishes (used the hand soap for that). No screen door on entrance door so risk letting animals/bugs in if you want to leave door open
Summary: Beautiful for a solo or couple to have some solitude and enjoy natures magic.
