For those who like fishing, we have Walleyes, Northerns, Crappies, Sunnys and Bass galore in this medium sized lake. There are also Muskies prowling around these waters but they're more difficult to catch.
Ducks, geese are daily visitors and occasionally a bald eagle will also do a "fly by". This lake is home to many nesting Loons. There is nothing like the call of a Loon to make you feel like you're in the wilderness.
A little country store is only a couple miles away in case you forget some basic necessities. It also has live bait and a liquor store attached.
Alexandria is only 10 minutes away. It has big city amenities with a small town feel. You can find grocery, hardware, and sporting goods stores.
