THE HOME -
Alpine Days features a contemporary lounge and kitchen/dining area - both with open gas fireplaces. Central gas heating throughout and reverse cycle air conditioning in the living zone, make this a wonderful little getaway all year round.
The home has two sunrooms, that convert into bedrooms at night. These little gems are warm, light filled and cosy. They provide that perfect private space for lounging around, reading and that all important afternoon holiday snooze. ;)
FREE high speed wi-fi and free Netflix are available for all guests. Login /passwords are changed per guest to ensure privacy and security and are provided upon check in.
A Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods, along with tea and other condiments are also provided.
LOCAL AREA & THINGS TO DO -
Alpine Days is only 300 metres walk to Katoomba train station and town, but without the noise of the hustle and bustle .
You cannot hear the train or the main rd traffic from the home - bonus!
The Edge Cinema is at the top of the street, (only a few minutes walk) which makes for a great impromptu day activity or fun night out.
The Hydro Majestic, Megalong Valley, antique stores and wonderful hiking trails are all within easy reach of Alpine Days Guesthouse. Many, only walking distance.
So ... why not soak up the sun on the large rear entertaining deck, (fully fenced for little ones) toast marshmallows by the fire; or simply relax with a good book in the swinging chair on the front veranda and watch the world go by.
PARKING -
Free street parking is available right in front of our black picket fence. However if you would prefer to house your vehicle, van, bike etc. inside the grounds, a rear gate key can be provided with access at the rear of the house in Freelander Ave.
Alpine Days Guesthouse is only a 5 minute walk to Katoomba train station and Katoomba township but no train or main road noise can be heard at the home. Bonus!
