Summary: My sister and I had a really lovely, relaxing stay in Riposto. Francesca and Salvatore are really kind hosts. They picked us up at the station when we arrived and showed us around the area a little bit, showing us where the beaches, grocery shops and nice bars and restaurants were. They also helped us to find a lift back to Catania airport with a local service. The apartment has a roof terrace with great views of the sea, the mountains and Mount Etna, which erupted while we were there! The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Riposto itself is quite a quiet town, and the local beach is rocky, but there is also a nice pebble beach around 15 minutes walk from the apartment. We were using public transport during the trip and found it easy enough to get around to places such as Siracusa and Catania.
