Summary: We are a group of friends that travel to Venice every year for Carnevale and we absolutely loved staying in this stunning palazzo! The frescoed room was a perfect backdrop for pictures of our historical costumes. It the rest of the apartment is great as well. There’s a huge kitchen a large dining room and a massive and beautiful bedroom with a balcony overlooking a canal. One thing is though that all the bedrooms connect so you have to walk through two bedrooms to get to the last and biggest bedroom. This was not a problem for us because we know each other well but if privacy is very important to you, this might not work.. the player says two newly run bathrooms for showers. And all the space you could ever want. Or who is Oscar who is very friendly and helpful.. clean and well maintained. Altogether we had a wonderful week staying in this historical gem. Would absolutely come again and will recommend to my friends who also love historical buildings. The area is lovely off the beaten path. There is a supermarket and several good restaurants close and we enjoyed staying away from the more crowded touristy areas. You get a taste of the more authentic Venice in this neighborhoo. It is about a 20 minute walk to Saint Marks Square so if you want to be closer to the touristic center of town This may not be the place for you.
