- Bright and cocooning living room, open, below, with panoramic fireplace (double fireplace overlooking the dining room).

- Corridor (architectural open canopy) leading to 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms.

Summary: I stayed in the villa for 10 nights with 2 families of 4. It was a perfect size for us and the kids really enjoyed having their own room and bathroom. We ate in most nights and found the kitchen to be amazingly well equipped. Beatrice came half way through our stay to replace the BBQ which we made good use of. The local area is beautiful with many beaches in walking distance. We particularly enjoyed going to the beach in the evening to watch the sunset. When we returned, as it got dark we were often treated to a bat show which the kids (and adults) loved! Then we all made use of the blankets and stayed out to watch the stars. The garden is spacious and the pool was a perfect size and depth for our 4 children. A couple of negatives.....the pool area did have a few loose paving stones which caused a minor hazard and the decking area did have a rather tired look. The toilets broke regularly (flush problems) which we managed to fix ourselves (Beatrice did offer to come but we fixed it in the meantime). The smell from the drains, especially in one bedroom, became quite disgusting in the last few days. I would say that Beatrice was very responsive to any problems that we had. Overall, a fantastic time was had by all.
