Summary: We apologise for not writing sooner. We really enjoyed our stay at Mas de la Lavande (July 14th-21st. However, we encountered problems with the hot water. In total, we were without hot water on 3 days during our 1 week stay which we feel is unacceptable. On both occasions we contacted the owner's son, who had welcomed us and provided his mobile number in case of any issues. Hhowever, we received no response. When checking out, we discussed this with him and it transpired that his mobile number doesn't receive calls from English phones so he was not aware of the problem. Luckily there wasn't a serious emergency. In addition there were a few smaller issues with the property although we understand it was the first time that they had rented out the property. Our comments are listed below: No air conditioning in one of the bedrooms upstairs Shallow steps in ground floor area are not very visible and so not suitable for all ages - one person fell The kitchen is very small for the size of the house and lacked some basic items e.g. chopping board There was a lot of technology in the house to operate things The house is very close to the railway line so quite noisy.
