Sol la vie is a spacious 5 bedroom (includes 3rd-floor open area), 3.5 bathroom home that has been beautifully decorated and furnished. This home sleeps 14 guests comfortably.
The home is well-equipped with everything you need to make your beach vacation a dream come true. A fully stocked kitchen with a dining table and breakfast bar. The backyard has a small splash pool and plenty of space to sip your morning coffee or evening wine. We offer complimentary bikes to our guests. Wake up and walk to the best bakery in town or ride your bike to Seaside to shop and dine. Destin is also only a 15-minute drive away.
Features and amenities
• The first floor hosts the kitchen, dining, and living area, along with a 1/2 bath.
• The second floor hosts the Master bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom, two bedrooms both with a queen bed and a hallway full bath.
• The third floor hosts a large open area with two double/full-size beds and a private bunk room with two sets of bunk beds along with a full bath.
• There is a small pool in the backyard with a BBQ pit. There is a bike shop a block away toward the beach, where there is also a bakery with the most amazing homemade cinnamon rolls.
Parking
• The home can accommodate 2 parked cars in the driveway. Please, do not park boats or RV's in the street. And there is street parking for another 2 vehicles.
Things to know
• Must be 25 years of age to rent the property.
• Our home is located in an old Florida neighborhood with both long-term residents and short-term rentals.
• Guests have full access to the entire house except for the owner's closet located under the stairs.
• The home has a small splash pool in the backyard. The back door of the home does have an alarm that goes off when the door is opened. It is a safety feature since the home has a pool. Behind our neighborhood is a 14,000-acre wildlife preserve. It has many great trails open to the public but it's important to be wary of wildlife and not feed them.
• Some pitfalls of our area include bear activity in the late summer and the many critters that come along with being close to the nature preserve. So be aware that we are always working to coexist in their habitat and keep harmony but in certain seasons of the year, some wildlife populations will be prevalent (including scorpions, rattlesnakes, and water bugs). This changes throughout the year.
• We provide a starter set of essentials for guests, trash bags, toilet, paper towels, dish soap, and dishwasher soap.
• Download the 30A Tuk Tuk app on your phone. It is like Uber but for a golf cart-type vehicle. It will take you anywhere along 30A. Easy and convenient.
House rules
• This home comes with everything you need to feel at home. We ask that you treat it like your own. Upon checkout, please return the key to the lockbox located on the front porch.
• The house has been furnished and updated with elements from local boutiques and design studios. It has a beach feel, but please dust off the sand before you come inside.
• The home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, so loud music or parties are not allowed at the home.
• No pets, unless it is a service pet and we must pre-approve.
• Bikes are available at the home. Please keep them locked in the storage area after use.
• No smoking on the property grounds, which includes the back and front porches.
• NO PARTIES! If you drink at home, please put beer cans and wine bottles in the trash. Do not leave them around the home. Trash cans are located on the street side of the home. Take the trash out upon checkout.
• Fresh towels will be provided at the beginning of the stay. There is a washer/dryer on-site if needed. Please, DO NOT use towels to take your makeup off. There are dark-colored towels for makeup. Any ruined towels will result in a fine. • • Some Beach towels are provided.
• Load the dishwasher with any dirty dishes upon checkout.
• If you use the BBQ pit, please clean up after yourself.
