Stunning Barn conversion, situated close to Bude and set in some of Devonshire's most beautiful countryside. Higher Forda barn sits in its own grounds with beautiful uninterrupted panoramic views.
Guests have full use of Higher Forda. The Barn, has four en-suite bedrooms - three upstairs and one downstairs. Purple and Grey Room are doubles, Blue Room is a twin and Yellow Room is versatile and can switch between being super-king or twin rooms, depending on group preferences. We also have two travel cots which can be set up prior to arrival, for any little ones.
Downstairs in the barn, there is an open plan kitchen/snug, fabulous for families and groups of friends and full of all the essentials and featuring a farmhouse style dining table which seats all 8 comfortably. Adjoining the kitchen there is a living room/tv room.
The additional benefit of downstairs is the wet room, straight ahead as you come in the front door, it is perfect for sandy surfers after a long day at the beach.
In the garden there is a large patio area with seating, BBQ, and a spacious lawn area. Children will love the playground, which has a football net, swings, a slide, swing ball, netball hoop and an adorable wooden playhouse.
Guests can also use the utility room, which is accessed via the garden and houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a handy storage area.
Interaction with guests -Jean who kindly looks after Higher Forda for us will also pop over the morning after you arrive to ensure everything is ok.
Our preferred check-in day is Friday, however in the off-peak season, should you wish to have more flexible dates, please do get in touch and we will see what we can do.
