Positive: The hardworking, welcoming, and sharp-minded Akhi (Ahmad) truly stood out as a bright spot during our stay ””””Only”””
Negative: If you are looking for comfort and a pleasant stay as a couple, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. The only reason I didn’t give an “extremely bad” rating is because of the hardworking waiters, especially Akhi (Ahmad) who truly stood out despite the unwelcoming attitude of the managers and assistants. One incident really highlighted the poor hospitality: my girlfriend and I were simply sitting by our window in the evening, sipping a drink, chatting, and softly singing—just enjoying our vacation. Out of nowhere, an older man hissed at her from outside in an extremely rude and inappropriate way. We later discovered he was the night manager. His behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and far from what you’d expect at any decent hotel. Had I known at the time that he was a manager, it would have been an immediate deal breaker. The breakfast was another disappointment, uninspiring and barely edible, with watermelon being the only redeeming item. On top of that, don’t expect a kettle or boiler in your room, even if you request politely. Their explanation was that it’s “dangerous.” I’ve traveled widely, and this is the only place I’ve ever stayed that refuses such a simple, basic service. The location is also inconvenient: around 40 minutes from the old city where most of the attractions are. The hotel isn’t directly connected to the beach, and even getting two lounge chairs felt like we were asking for a huge favor. Everything is overpriced for what you actually get. The surrounding area is practically deserted after 9 PM, with nothing to do, leaving the atmosphere dull and boring. To top it off, the entire experience began with a very unpleasant and “creepy” welcome.
