Positive: Beautiful kitchen and dining room. Very homely. Good access downstairs for disabled people. The garage with darts and pool table was amazing. It was like having your own personal pub setting. Great outdoor heater in it that kept us cosy. The hot tub/jacuzzi was fantastic. We learnt that if we got too hot, we put on the jacuzzi for 5 minutes and it cooled us down a little. It was a nice little getaway. The owners were great with communication and offered a reduction due to the aga and Internet. I had gone to see my daughter for the weekend who is studying in Swansea. It was just far enough away that she felt like she had a break. The house sleeps up to 7 people. Good value for a larger family.
Negative: Toilet seat lid broke the second time we sat down. Storm Amy had disturbed the Internet, so no t.v. Unfortunately, the aga did not work properly. It took 5 hours to cook a roast dinner. It mashed everything, including the roast potatoes. It slow roasted the chicken to perfection 😀. Now my daughter wants her chicken slow roasted all the time.
