Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The food was great and fresh. The pool was beautiful and fun for the kids. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Negative: The Maitre D at both restaurants we went to were quite unhelpful and not especially friendly. Little to no communication. Always acting overwhelmed but not dealing with it through courtesy. Left a bad taste in our mouths. I would never allow a business to function that way with clients. Overall, the resort had way more of a corporate conference feel than I expected. The conference rooms are up front and awkward to walk past on the way to the hotel rooms. Service and coziness seemed like a financial afterthought.

Summary: An almost nice resort that is not responsive to customer needs.
