Positive: Delightful guesthouse near beach, lovely family, 2 cats & 3 adorable dogs (all friendly), clean, highly secure (gated property, key to own room). Walking distance to beach and historic centre (from bus terminal COP30,000 by recommended, reliable taxi). 10 minute walk to supermarkets. The owner (Luz Mary) even kindly arranged a dentist for us and took time out to take us there. Thank you! On a side street, so no traffic noise, the general area quiet. Good wifi/internet/network, but sometimes dropped, but probably because of the storms that would affect everyone. Kitchen facilities (4 ring gas hob, fridge/freezers, microwave, plenty of pots, pans, crockery, etc). Use of washing machine and dryer. Plenty of reminders to conserve energy and water. Excellent, quiet, air conditioning in room. Large bedroom. Large, comfortable double bed. Bedside tables and lamp. Good storage for clothes.
Negative: No visible signs of recycling. Needs more hooks in bedroom and bathroom. Needs bin in bedroom and better located light switches and power points. Needs more water pressure to bathroom sink. (These are minor details that shouldn't distract anyone from what is a really lovely homestay).
