Summary: We had a lovely stay at Cedar Manor in Windermere. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and its peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s also conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Windermere train station, which made getting there very easy. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, which really added to the overall experience. Breakfast was a definite highlight, easily a 10/10, with great quality and plenty of choice to start the day right. One thing to keep in mind is to plan ahead for dinner. It can be quite difficult to find a taxi in the evening, and there aren’t many nearby restaurants within easy walking distance. Bringing some snacks or making dinner arrangements in advance would definitely help. Overall, we had a fantastic and relaxing stay, and would highly recommend Cedar Manor for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Windermere.
