-Inquiries and booking requests received less than 72 hours prior to intended arrival date cannot be accepted and will be declined.
-The house is not available for events such as weddings, parties etc.
-Unfortunately we have a strict No Pet policy.
-Frequently asked questions re A/C, grill and fire pit. There is no air conditioning, no grill and no fire pit.
-Fishing, Hunting, trapping are absolutely not permitted on our land.
-This is a no smoking property.
-For insurance and safety reasons, FIREPLACES and stove are NOT for use.
-The house sleeps a MAXIMUM of 6 people. Couches, sofas etc are not additional sleeping areas and guests may not bring their own air mattresses etc.
HOUSE DESCRIPTION:
Bright, comfortable 3 bedroom house with all modern amenities.
2 master bedrooms each with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom.
Large and spacious upstairs sleeping loft with 2 full size beds and en-suite.
Linens and towels are provided.
The house features extensive hand made wood panelling. Much of the timber as well as the wood floors were milled from local trees.
NB PLEASE NOTE. The house sleeps a MAXIMUM of 6 people.* This is based on 2 couples sharing plus 2 individual beds.
* THE HOUSE HAS 2 QUEENS AND 2 FULL BEDS. GUESTS MAY NOT BRING ADDITIONAL BEDS.
TV & DVD player (no TV service). 2 bathrooms have both shower and bathtub. 1 downstairs bathroom with walk in shower. Upstairs loft bathroom with bathtub. Kitchen is modern and all dining and cooking items are provided. Large dining room table.
Stunning picture windows in the living room look onto a large open field with a pond.
There is also an outdoor porch area looking onto the field.
The house is set in an idyllic natural location. Deer, turkey, porcupines, numerous bird species and the occasional black bear are a few of the local visitors. The location offers various seasonal experiences. Perfect for those wishing to experience New Englands fall foliage and those wishing to escape the city or searching for a convenient base to explore the surrounding areas.
Berkshire East ski resort and zip lining are only 15 minutes away by car.
The picturesque village of Shelburne Falls, with it's many dining options and the famous Bridge of Flowers are also only minutes away.
Set between Catamount State Forest and Mohawk State Forest there is an abundance of wilderness. Zoar Outdoor in nearby Charlemont and Crab Apple whitewater rafting offer outdoor activities from kayaking to rock climbing.
For some local cultural landmarks head to North Adams site of Mass MOCA and Williamstown for the world famous Clark museum.
