Positive: For winter, you can't beat the location. It's the most "ski in ski out" location I've ever had. You can ski directly to the front door and directly away from it. Ski locker right by the front door as well. Jiři and Nia are amazing, super helpful and they know everything about the area. Kitchen has all essential equipment for cooking, but bring all your own spices, oil, and food you want to cook. The hot tub is in a building about 10 steps from the cabin and it's amazing--wood fired so be sure to get the fire going about 4 hrs before you want to use it. Jiři will set it up for you as long as you let him know plenty early.
Negative: Nothing! Just a few things to note: in winter, it costs 600 czk each way from the closest recommended parking lot for the snowmobile taxi (Feb 2025). Parking cost us 130/day. Most restaurants on the hill close with the lifts at 4pm so bring your own food to cook; otherwise the closest restaurant is a 500m walk through the snow uphill. You can get beer and food at Nia and Jiři's until 4pm or they will stay open a little later if there are still people around. We just brought our own drinks. The fire boiler is the only heat for the cabin and it's a bit temperamental--tough to get perfect but Jiři will come over and help to get it right or fix any issues it's having. These are all just little quirks though, we 100% recommend it!
