Travel Purpose: business
Positive: The studio had two downstairs rooms; a kitchen area and a lounge. There is a small toilet off the kitchen. The lounge has a wood pellet burning heater which is a bit noisy but effective. We were met by Lulu who was very friendly and helpful. There is off-road parking on a narrow drive and the property is set-back from the road, so we did not find it noisy. There is access to a small rear garden but we did not use it. The bed was comfortable and there is an ensuite bathroom but no toilet. The studio is 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre, where there are restaurants, and a nice like you can walk around.
Negative: The bedroom is a mezzanine but the stairs to it are very steep and narrow, so not great for taking luggage up or down or for going to the loo in the night. Although the heater is effective, heat does rise, so good advice from Lulu was to turn off the heating before you go to bed.
Summary: Great for a short stay and visit to the region.
