Positive: We love the location because it was close enough to the main central area but not too close to be noisy. The breakfast was good, just maybe I would like to take one more coffee and/or juice because the service is so slow and they only include one. But the offer was very diverse. Margaritas are very good and the sunrise is breathtaking.
Negative: Considering that we were there 10 days I would expect to get a better room (of the same range of course). The hotel was half empty and our room was above the kitchen in the passage :( Also, we went around and enjoyed another beach bars and restaurants and I have to say that we were so much better treated and welcomed in places that we stayed a day or some hours than in our own hotel (except for David, at the bar, he is awesome). We normally tip in cash and at the end of the service… maybe that’s why, they expected to be tipped after every meal, housekeeping and so on but this is also not so nice, moreover when often the service was slow and not so professional. About housekeeping: we had to ask for towels 3 days and at the end I left a message to avoid removal. Everything was clean but the room needed several works and you could see the repairs on the floor and the sink. The shower had very low pressure, maybe needs to be changed.
Summary: We loved Tulum and enjoyed our stay but we would choose another hotel for the next time.
