We invite you to stay at our comfy vacation home near the beach and in the middle of a quiet residential neighborhood! This location--just a handful of houses down 15th Street, about a two-minute walk, with an unobstructed view straight down the road all the way to the ocean--provides all the amenities you need for a restful and fun filled Central Coast vacation.
Views of the ocean abound from the front of the home or from the upstairs balcony, where you can let in the sea breezes and sound of the roaring surf. The home is in a great location in the desirable numbered streets (15th Street and Cass). It's in the center of the surf/beach town of Cayucos and walk-able to the quaint downtown, but far enough away from town and Hwy 1 to have peace and quiet--with an unobstructed view down a very short and quiet street to the beach...providing ocean proximity but without the premium price of an ocean front rental!
This home is perfect for one family or more, for one or more couples, or for a girls or guys getaway trip. A backyard hot tub provides extra group fun, although please limit hot tub use to the hours of 7am-10pm in order to respect our neighbors. (Note: Be sure to bring your own beach towels for the ocean or hot tub).
Having two master King suites and two other Queen bedrooms provides lots of flexibility (and space). One suite even has an extra sleeper sofa! All main living areas and three bedrooms are located on the first floor. And, the main floor King suite has a shower which is walk-in which can be helpful for older family members.
There is lots of living space, plenty of dining space for all, the kitchen provides everything you need (whether you're into cooking or not), and wireless Internet is available throughout. There is also a long driveway that enables lots of parking.
The Central Coast is great place to vacation for couples, families or groups of friends. Cayucos--with its antique shops, great restaurants, Old Time Saloon, candy/ice cream shoppe, and pier--is at the center of it all!
Just a few minutes south, enjoy the wonders of Morro Bay, including hiking and tide pooling in Montana de Oro State Park, kayaking in Morro Bay, or the Museum of Natural History or Aquarium. The wine areas of Paso Robles / Templeton / Edna Valley are just about 30-45 minutes inland. Drive north to visit the Hearst Castle, the elephant seals at San Simeon Ragged Point, or the charming shops and restaurants in Cambria. And, don't miss points south including San Luis Obispo (with its historic downtown including the Old Mission, Thursday night Farmer's Market, and the Sunset Drive-In), Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, and more!
