Casolare Uliveto, dating back to the end of the 19th century, enjoys a privileged position with views over the valley as far as Vesuvius. It is located in the green countryside of Cava de' Tirreni - 4 km from the centre and from the A3 motorway exit - near the archaeological sites of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum and a few km from the Amalfi Coast.
It is surrounded by 5000 square metres of countryside and is divided into 4 flats, one of which is used by a farming family (CASA CILIEGIO, CASA MELOGRANO, CASA MANDORLO).

CASA MANDORLO is located on the second floor of Casolare Uliveto, an old farmhouse dating back to the 1800s.
Access is via a steep piperno staircase from the 1800s. After an evocative and enchanting entrance you reach the apartment consisting of an entrance hallway, bedroom and large living room with kitchenette, sofa bed and overlooking a beautiful terrace of about 40 square meters with views of the Agro Nocerino countryside, Vesuvius and on brighter days up to Ischia.
From the living room you enter the bathroom equipped with all comforts with large shower and decorated with typical Vietri ceramic tiles.
The apartment has wifi.
The washing machine is located outside on the ground floor.
We have an agreement with Hotel Diecimare - only 600 meters away - thanks to which it is possible to access the swimming pool by paying an entrance fee at the moment.
Free parking is possible in the facility's courtyard.
Guests will have access to the apartment (50 sq m) and the terrace (40 sq m equipped with chairs, table and parasol), which enjoys a spectacular view and sunset
There is public transportation connection, but to visit the surroundings it is absolutely recommended to have a car.

Surrounded by the green hills that encircle Cava dei Tirreni (Salerno), Casolare Uliveto built in the late 1800s enjoys a privileged location with views stretching across the valley to Mount Vesuvius.
It is just 4 km from the city center and accessible via the A3 highway, in an area that allows numerous visits to nearby places of interest, such as the archaeological sites of Pompeii i (24 km), Herculaneum (39 km) and Paestum (60 km to the south).
In just 15 minutes you can also enjoy the beautiful views of the Amalfi Coast, Vietri sul Mare and then on to Amalfi, Ravello, Positano and Sorrento.
The large outdoor space of the house allows guests to spend pleasant days in total relaxation, surrounded by greenery and is a short walk from the natural park OASI WWF. The house has a cozy and warm atmosphere preserving the typical features of old farmhouses, although it is equipped with all modern comforts.
Guests have access to the living room with its old 19th century tiled kitchen, modern comfortable kitchen, three bedrooms, and bathrooms. There are two terraces and a 500-square-meter back garden equipped with barbecue, tables, chairs where guests can spend relaxing hours in the shade of large cherry trees. There is a large playground area for people to play soccer, volleyball, etc.
The area is very quiet, there is a relaxed and magical atmosphere.
From the terrace you have a view of the Agro-Nocerino area, you can see Vesuvius and in the distance the island of Ischia.
SURROUNDINGS
A 5-minute drive brings you to the town of Cava dei Tirreni, which features a pleasant walk on the main avenue under the arcades and offers a range of cultural activities, festivals, and fairs.
The vitality that characterizes Cava de 'Tirreni and the many activities that take place throughout the year help make the area accessible and a tourist attraction in every season.
Many visitors include the Abbey of the Holy Trinity with its religious festivals, the Mars municipal multimedia library-a place for study, research and exhibitions-the various events and festivals organized by the municipal administration and the Autonomous Office of Tourism and Tourism.
THE COAST
From Vietri sul Mare the Amalfi Coast begins, the coastal road is famous for its charm and beauty offering enchanting views of the sea and characteristic villages perched on the coast, characterized by white buildings that create a particularly evocative atmosphere.
Starting from Vietri, the first stop will be Cetara, then the beach at Erchie, a very picturesque town with only a few bars and restaurants. Continue to Maiori and Minori to arrive in the small village of Atrani, with its square surrounded by typical Mediterranean buildings and the majolica bell church, here a drink sitting at tables in the main square, tasting homemade ice cream and a stroll on the beach is a must.
Soon after you will arrive in Ravello, a masterpiece of architecture and nature, here in summer at villa Rufolo and villa Cimbrone there is a very interesting season of concerts and theater performances in a unique natural setting!
Then there is Furore, the fjord known for the annual diving competition. In Furore there is a small beach and a very pleasant path along the rock; from here you can rent boats to take you to beaches accessible only by sea or to take day trips to Capri.
Continuing along the coast you will come across Praiano and then Positano, unique in the world. A true “nativity scene,” with a dense network of streets, alleys and houses that make it the most romantic place in the world.
There are artisan stores along the streets that climb the hill and by the sea, delightful bars and restaurants.
At this point you can go directly to Naples or proceed to the Sorrento coast, with Sorrento, Nerano, Massa Lubrense all magical places worth a visit.
