The house is a 2 story house and the apartment is upstairs. It has a master bedroom with a king size bed and a half bath, a kitchenette, a living room and a full bathroom with tub and walk-in shower. The apartment has a separate entrance, there are stairs leading to the front door and there is a small deck that overlooks the garden. The apartment is separated from the rest of the house by 2 sets of doors. 1 set you can lock from your side, behind it is a shared laundry room and a private bedroom that is not included with the apartment. The house sits on 1.17 acres and has a natural landscape with several seating areas. You are free to walk around and enjoy the garden. It is a good place to come 'home' to. Everything you need is there, including linens and towels. The kitchenette is set up for preparing a simple meal, There is no stove, but there is a hotplate, pots and pans, a microwave, a crockpot, toaster and coffee maker and a small refrigerator.
There is Wi-Fi in the house, it is okay to stream your favorite TV shows and movies, there are no TV channels.
We get some snow in winter which occasionally may require a 4x4 drive vehicle.
Snow in winter, or storms in summer may occasionally interrupt power to the house. There is a generator that will supply limited power. The internet will be on for 4 hours when a power outage occurs, after that there is no internet other than in town.
