Close to hiking and biking trails, a short .9 mile walk from downtown, 4 miles from the Winter Park ski area, and just a few steps from our driveway to The Lift ski bus stop that gets you to the base (and back after your big day) in 15 minutes, making resort access super easy.
If you and your family need a break from your home/office to play or just relax in the mountains, this is the perfect location to spend a long weekend, week or longer. This is mountain living at its best.
Our comfortable and inviting four-bedroom, four-bath mountain cabin is the perfect Rocky Mountain getaway for adventure seekers or those simply looking for a change in scenery. Stitched together by massive logs, wooden floors and floor to ceiling windows, it's a retreat all in itself. The radiant floor heating keeps you cozy in winter. The main level family room has breathtaking panoramic views that provide natural sunlight all day long. Outside is a massive wrap around deck that faces the Rocky Mountains, with plenty of space to lounge and take in the scenery.

This home has two family rooms (one without a tv for some real family time), and space in the loft, with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and be comfortable.
The primary bedroom sits on the main floor with a clean private bath and a king sized bed. The bathroom has a stone embellished walk in shower, and a large tub - with more mountain views!
A beautiful granite countertop wraps around a fully equipped kitchen, with a large breakfast bar and a family dining table that seats 8. Wake up to watch the sunrise while eating breakfast, or enjoy the sunset while roasting marshmallows in the stone fireplace inside, or in the small fire pit outside the kitchen door (wood available in town). The main level also has a half bath, with a full washer and dryer right next to the kitchen.
Downstairs is Bedroom #2 with a second family room which includes a gaming area (foosball), multiple couches (one of which is a pull out couch that fits two), and a tv. Bedroom #2 has a bunk bed (queen size bed below with a twin up top), and a private bath/walk in shower.
Upstairs, there is a newly remodeled Bunk Room and Bedroom #3. The Bunk Room is built to fit all of the kids. It holds 5 comfortably in twin size nooks and has a nook with 1 toddler size mattress. All are equipped with built in reading lights and USB outlets.
Bedroom #3 is also on the second floor, opposite the bathroom next to the Bunk Room. Bedroom #3 has a queen size bed and direct access to the full bath. It has its own small private standing balcony that overlooks the peaceful back yard and has a view of the the Sunspot, and the Vasquez territory at Winter Park Resort.
This mountain home is truly the perfect getaway, without getting too far away. It has backyard access to cycling, walking and skiing trails. And there is a free ski shuttle that picks you up within steps from your door to take you straight to the lifts or to town. It has the comfort of privacy and gives you a distanced feel, yet sits within minutes of downtown and Winter Park Resort.

Rocky Mountain National park is within a 45 minute drive, where endless adventure awaits! But with only seasonal access for a drive to the top of the park, make sure you do your research ahead of time if you plan to travel through the park to Estes Park.

Lake Grandby is a 30 minute drive where you can rent a boat, go fishing, and go paddleboarding, among other activities. For those who are looking for a more relaxed escape, we have many places to explore, may it be a local spa or nearby hot spring. Enjoy all that Winter Park and the Fraser Valley have to offer.
