4 Bedroom House with Fireplace, Internet and Laundry

Private waterfront residence situated on approximately 3 acres. The house sits on a hill and overlooks the boat house and Toledo Bend Reservoir. An approximate 5 minute hike along a wide nature path with incline is required in order to enjoy the private pier and fish cleaning station available to guests. Boat Lifts & Electric Car charging are not included in rental. Bass Boat Charging welcome. Room for the whole family.
Huge living room and kitchen areas for entertaining, hot tub and firepit for enjoying a relaxing time.
4 bedrooms sleeps 8 adults comfortably plus 4 kids. Master bedroom has king bed and en suite. 2nd bedroom has a king bed. 3rd bedroom has a king bed plus a trundle bed with 2 twin mattresses. 4th bedroom is accessed from the garage and has a full bed, 2 twins and a sofa sleeper. This bedroom also has a door to the yard. There are some stairs to the boat house but they don’t have handrails (yet) so I don’t recommend using them.

Summary: We had a great week away at the Lake House. The living areas in the house are large and the kitchen is enormous. We were able to prepare our Thanksgiving meal without any problems. I did not find the house to be as clean as the reviews said. All of the couches had been cleaned in place and there was dust and crumbs underneath. Another problem was the mosquitos when we arrived. The entire deck and front of the house was covered in mosquitos. We had to drive quite a distance to a hardware store to buy perimeter spray to take care of it. Luckily they had a hosepipe so we could do it ourselves or else our entire stay would have been ruined. We chose this house because of the outside area and the lake views. The hot tub was clean and warm. The distance from the house to the dock is very steep so would not be suitable for elderly people if they want to fish. Walking down the road was the best route, the stairs are very steep and don't have a hand railing. All in all we had a great relaxing week and loved the fishing and seeing the bald eagles in the pine trees. It was very peaceful and quiet.
