This cozy single level residence is located on a quiet, shaded street with no thru traffic but is only a few minutes by car or bike ride to the many restaurants, shops and entertainment options available in downtown Sarasota. This is the left side of a duplex with a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths on each side. The yard is shared between the two sides of the duplex but it is fenced to allow for secure play area for kids or pets. It's in a safe and walkable neighborhood that is mainly single family and duplex properties. Located just one block from the Sarasota High School property and athletic fields, this convenient home base is also within a few blocks of the amazing Payne Park (with skate park, Circus Park playground, tennis courts and more), Publix, and the Harbor (Marina Jack's restaurant, LeBarge cruises, tiki bar and more); it's also within 15-minutes drive to St. Armand's Circle, Lido Key, Siesta Key & Village, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Doctors Hospital, the Ringling Museum, Florida Studio Theater, Sarasota Opera House, and SRQ airport. There is a free BayRunner shuttle that picks up at School St. and Ringling to take you to a variety of these local spots.
You enter the home through a double French door at the foyer; to the right is the newly constructed King Master Bedroom 2 with shower bathroom; to the left is the family room, galley style kitchen, and Master Bedroom with adjacent bathtub bathroom. There is a gas grill for barbeque fans at the side yard, and a generous backyard. We provide free use of two adult bicycles for renters to explore the area.
As you enter the front door of the home, the spacious living room space has a double recliner love seat and a large comfy wicker chair to enjoy watching the 50-inch HDTV with Xfinity cable TV. There is a pass thru window between the kitchen and living room to keep the conversations going while cooking. There is a bar height fold-away dining table with 4 bar stools at the pass-through from kitchen for indoor dining.
The kitchen has all the basic amenities including refrigerator with ice maker, stovetop, oven, microwave and toaster, and plenty of countertop space and cabinet storage space. The floors are all vinyl or ceramic tiles, and the AC system, newly installed in 2022, blows strong to keep the place at your comfort temperature.
