Homeowners live on the main floor while you will occupy the entire lower level, but fear none, there is a locked door between the two floors for your privacy. We have installed a soundproofing system in the ceiling, so you won’t hear anything from upstairs during your stay. You will have your own private keyed entry and the entire backyard to yourself for your enjoyment.

THE SPACE:
Welcome to Endless Norris Sunsets, your own secluded spot with breathtaking views. Blending rustic and modern elements, you will surely feel that you have escaped from your everyday life. Park your car in the backyard welcoming you to a phenomenal lake view while there's a concrete driveway and parking pad leading you to your own private keyed entry. As you enter, you will walk into the spacious living room and kitchen with fantastic long-range views of the lake and mountains from every window. The master ensuite is on the left, and the other two bedrooms with the guest bathroom is on the right. This part of our home is separated from our own personal living space by a door that will be latched for your privacy. Although we will be in the main part of the house, we want you to enjoy your time and enjoy Norris Lake.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware and flatware. There is a coffee maker, tea kettle, dishwasher, electric stove, microwave, and a fridge/freezer with an ice maker. There is also a washing machine and dryer tucked away in the laundry room next to the kitchen.
The 560 sq foot covered paver patio is providing a peaceful immersion into the surrounding and environment.
WiFi is available throughout the house.
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, and a TV.
Bedroom 2: The bedroom has a king-sized bed and full-sized bed.
Bedroom 3: the bedroom has two queen-sized beds.
GUEST ACCESS:
AIRPORT: McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville is a 55-minute drive to our house and is the recommended airport to fly into if you are coming to the Smokies mountains and Norris Lake.
ACCESS: The rear door is equipped with a key access. You will have access to the lock box to get the keys. You will get the code on the day of check-in, no need to meet anyone for keys. Enjoy the entire place to yourself.
ROAD: The road is all the way from the main road to the back of our house. Although snow here is rare, in the winter, 4WD or AWD may be necessary.
PARKING: Park immediately in the rear of our house. Parking is available for 3 cars. Note that the parking area is a little tight so please be mindful when leaving and maneuvering your vehicle. The sloped driveway to the right of the house is narrow.
BOAT SLIP: It’s at Cedar Grove marina which is under 15 minutes drive, 30 ft long by 11 ft wide covered SINGLE boat slip. You won’t have to worry about any other boats hitting to your sides! You will get 15% off on boat rentals if you stay with us! The marina boat slip liability documentation will be required to sign upon arrival if you bring your own boat.
RAMP ACCESS:
1. Beach Island Marina is 10 minutes (4.4 miles). They have a public boat ramp where you can launch your boat and space to park your tow vehicle.
2. Judge Willard Brogan’s TVA Boat Ramp is 12 minutes (6.4 miles) away, it is my go-to place to launch my boat, easy in and easy out with plenty of space for parking and backing in. It’s in a nice, protected cove area where you won’t be affected by any boat wakes, and most of the time, no wind to deal with.
3. Cedar Grove Marina and Campgrounds also has a boat launch that you can launch at, this is 14 minutes (7.8 miles) away.
4. Hickory Star Resort is 20 minutes (12 miles) away, they have a boat launch with a fee, and it is rather tight there to put in. They do have gas and restaurant on the water.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
PET: There is a $100 pet fee for the entire stay. Please select the amount of pets under Guests amount. We would like to ask you to please keep pets off of furnitures and beds, bring your own crate for your pet to stay in while the space is unoccupied. Please clean up after your pet, and sweep up the floors before checking out. Please do not bathe any pets in the shower or bathtub, please do it outside. There will be $150 cleaning fee added to the bill if there’s stains and/or hair on the bed, furnitures, shower/tub and/or excessive hair on the floor that’s not swept up.
SMOKING: Absolutely no smoking of any kind (cigarettes, drugs, vaping) anywhere on the property which includes indoor and outdoor.
TRASH: Please dump liquids into the sink and not into trash bags. Please dump grease, fats and oils in the trash after they have cooled. Place all trash into trash bags and secure trash bags in the trash containers next to the driveway. We do have regularly schedule trash pick-ups.
CHECK IN/OUT: Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM.
OTHER SAFETY: Do not lean or hang on the railing. This is not the place to audition for Cirque du Solei.
We provide a starter pack consisting of dishwater tablets, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, kitchen sponge, K-cup pods, shampoo, and other toiletries.
LOCAL PLACES TO VISIT WHILE HERE:
- Bubba Brews Restaurant is 10 minutes (4.4 miles) located at Beach Island Marina. They even have boat rentals if you are looking to get out on the water for a day or a week. Bubba Brews restaurant is the largest restaurant on the water here on Norris Lake, they have live band every weekend.
- Cedar Grove Marina and Campgrounds is 15 minutes (7.7 miles drive. They do not have a restaurant at the marina. They do have gas, ice, snacks, and fishing supplies when you need it. This marina has the included boat slip that we are providing. Also they have boat rentals, and they are offering 15% discounts on everything including boat rental other than fuel.
- Lone Mountain Marina is 30 minutes (20 miles) drive, where they have on the water restaurant called The Shipyard Bar & Grill. They have live bands every weekend.
- Big Ridge State Park is approximately 20 minutes down the road, they have a visitors center, hiking trails, folklore, and an old grist mill onsite.
- The Winery at Seven Springs Farm is also a local favorite
- Pete’s Place Restaurant in Maynardville is a great place for local beer and good food.
- 33 Diner in Maynardville has the best breakfasts in the area, not to be missed **Cash only*
- Knoxville is approximately 50 minutes away (33 miles) Great restaurants, brewery’s, Shopping of any kind, U.T. College, and night life along the Tennessee River.
- Pigeon Forge is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away (52 miles). Traffic will vary.
- Dolly Wood is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away (55 miles). Traffic will vary.
- Gatlinburg is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes away (60 miles). Traffic will vary.
- Three Ridge Golf Course is 35 minutes away (21 miles) that is near Knoxville.
- Woodlake Lodge, Golf and Country Club is 31 minutes away (20 miles) in Tazewell.
