Enjoy a cup of coffee/tea as you watch the sunrise on our dock in the backyard on lake Haskie. Enjoy your own parking space & enter our main gate to the private unit in the downstairs of our home.
Enjoy a private entrance that is not shared with the main home. You have a private bedroom & bathroom, a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dining table, closet, laptop workspace, & your own outdoor porch. We are happy to wash dishes for you each day. Enjoy the lake dock to kayak, fish& relax.
The space
Enjoy the sunrise on our private dock on lake Haskie. This guest suite is below our main living area in our home.
We do have children, so you will hear kids and feet above when we are home.
We are on historic Pimlico Plantation along the Cooper River. It is about 30 minutes to downtown Charleston, 15 minutes to Summerville, and 45 minutes to Sullivan’s Island/ Isle of Palms, & 20 minutes to Lake Moultrie.
Pimlico plantation is remote neighborhood surrounded by the Cooper River. It is private, and beautiful. It is a wildlife preserve.
While we do have few restaurants close by, I’d recommend bringing snacks to settle in.
Our space is newly renovated with modern polished concrete floors that are sparkly clean (concrete floors are anti-microbial), fluffy towels, soft & clean sheets, a super comfy queen size memory foam mattress, and a sparkling clean and new gorgeous bedroom & bathroom to greet you after a long day on the lake, river, or the beach. We also keep allergens low in our home, which means it’s super clean and we don’t do shoes inside. Please remove shoes😊
Enjoy your favorite streaming channels watching tv in bed, or you can work remotely with free wifi at your private dining table.
We have two kayaks that you can use on the lake.

There’s a fishing pole to catch catfish or brim off the dock.

Lastly, this space is appropriate ONLY for 2 adults, plus 1 infant or child. (Any more than that would simply be uncomfortable.)
We do not allow any other visitors or overnight guests other than your original guests in the reservation.

The guest areas as described are yours to enjoy. When we are around, we will be social distancing. Please keep a respectful distance from us & our children as we are trying to all stay safe during Covid.
Other things to note...
We have small children, so you WILL hear little feet running around in the house (the unit is in the first floor of our main home) and children’s voices. Our children are up early in the morning, and so you will hear children in the morning time. We are outdoors quite a bit. We do have dogs that mostly stay inside, but are out in the yard sometimes with us.

Guest access
Guests have their own private entrance to enter this private suite. This suite is private, but is attached to our home and you do enter through the main gate of our home. You will see our family during your stay in the backyard. We do respect your privacy entirely though. We will be available if you should need us, just message us! We are here to help. Guests have their own patio and chairs by their entrance door to use. Guests do have access and are free to use our dock in the backyard.
Other things to note
There is dominoes pizza, a coffee shop, and Chinese food a few miles from the neighborhood. We are tucked away though, so I would pack some snacks. We do have young children and our main living space is above the unit, so you may here us in the early am. If you’re not an early riser, we cannot guarantee that you won’t hear little feet and voices in the morning.
