At Casa Mera Mera you and your group will have full access to a beautifully decorated, 2 story house with an enclosed parking space, patio and private studio attached. The first floor contains spacious living room and dining room featuring Oaxacan-made furniture, local art and regional plants. The kitchen comes ready to cook with all new appliances, basic cookware/utensils, and table settings for 8. Additionally, the living room offers a stock-able, mid-century bar that allows you to enjoy a mezcal and a movie on the 50 inch smart TV or sip a glass of local wine over a good book in one of the homes many reading nooks. Two floor-to-ceiling windows give the inside lots of natural light and the patio provides a succulent filled oasis for morning coffee, hammock lounging, BBQs, or just good conversation with friends and family. A shared half-bathroom is also on the first floor.
Upstairs you will find a sun-filled living room whose 7-foot couch pulls out into a double bed that can comfortably sleep two. The master bedroom has a brand new king size bed, a dedicated work space (with the fastest WiFi the neighborhood has to offer), street facing windows with blackout curtains, and a large closet. The second bedroom has a brand new queen mattress, black out curtains, a vintage reading chair and tons of closet space. All beds come with luxury bedding, towels and toiletries for the upstairs shared bathroom.
A private studio is attached to the main house via the patio has a brand new, king sized mattress with luxury bedding and its own full bathroom. It’s stand-alone location and stair-less access make it ideal for older guests or those who prefer a bit more privacy. All bedrooms and common areas have their own fans to keep you cool during your stay and are filled with local plants, art, and artisan products that offer the warm comforts of a holiday home.
The charming neighborhood of Trinidad de las Huertas is residential enough to keep the nighttime noise down but close enough to the action should you want to be a part of it. Located in the southeast section of the “Centro” district, you can access all the amenities of the “Centro Historico” within minutes via a safe, flat walk through the city. Trinidad de las Huertas offers its own unique variety of cafes, restaurants, markets, shops, galleries, bakeries, mezcalerias and bookstores that are not to be missed. Should you need a quick work-out, laundry services, a post office, printer access, a manicure, flowers, groceries, dance lessons or even just late night tacos, it is all available within 5 blocks of the house.
