Three excellent golf courses are around the Dells, including the lovely course on Chula Vista Resort's property. Not even a mile north of the resort is a boat marina where you can rent pontoon boats or jet skis to ride on the Wisconsin river! The downtown area is a short drive away, just waiting for you to discover local eateries, arts, entertainment, and an array of family-friendly attractions. Don't forget to sample Wisconsin's famous cheese curds! One of the biggest features of the resort is the 80,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor water park.
Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a warm feeling of welcome throughout the space. Feel right at home as you sit on the plush furniture, curl up by the great stone fireplace with a good book, or stream a movie on the TV above the mantle. Prepare culinary charms in the full kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, with ample room for personal effects. Best of all, a luxurious jetted hot tub is available near the sitting area where you can enjoy the view of the resort.

Things to Know
Guests cannot access the shared amenities the resort offers without the additional purchase of Chula Vista waterpark wristbands, which include the spa, pool, water slides, hot tub, kids pool, and pools. Summary: I originally booked through Vrbo but its actually through Vacasa. Vacasa’s team was helpful but with the third party I had a very hard time getting answers when I had questions and concerns. I did not originally get the door code and when I texted the host through Vrbo they didn’t respond until the next day and gave me the wrong code, contacted Vrbo help line and they also gave me a wrong code, and then contacted Vacasa help line and got in. I wasn’t able to check in for almost an hour waiting on all the different responses. When I walked in the place was pretty dirty and had obviously had a party previously to our stay. One of the chairs was even broken and we didn’t find out until after one of my guests sat on it and fell over. After voicing my concerns I have not gotten any type of compensation back. Overall its a nice condo, but with the miscommunication, uncleanliness, and broken furniture I wouldn’t recommend this place.
