A stone’s throw to a supermarket and pharmacy, and short walk to cafes, parks and great local eats. Easy transit access - downtown in 20 mins! It’s a quiet, welcoming home base in one of Vancouver’s most vibrant, safest, family-friendly and convenient neighborhoods.
Bedrooms: The first bedroom has a queen memory foam bed, drawers, and a closet with ample hanging space. The second offers a twin-over-full bunk bed, drawers, and a spacious closet. Both rooms feature comfortable mattresses, hotel-quality linens, and include an extra blanket and pillow in the closet. **If you are traveling with an infant and require a pack & play and/or a high chair, please let us know in advance and we will have it for you when you arrive**
Bathroom/Laundry: The suite features a full bathroom with a shower and tub, stocked with essentials to make your stay comfortable—including toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, hand towels, washcloths, hair dryer and body towels. You’ll find an extra set of body towels in the closet if needed. The unit has a washer and dryer for your convenience, and we provide a starter supply of laundry detergent. If you run low on toilet paper during your stay, feel free to message us through the app and we’ll make sure you’re restocked.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy your meals, including full-sized stainless steel appliances and a dishwasher. We provide a starter amount of dishwasher pods, garbage bags, paper towels and other basics to get you settled in. Please make yourself at home—and we ask that you treat the space and our belongings with care so we can continue offering a great experience for every guest.
Living Room: The living room couch converts into a bed if needed. Linens for the bed will be in the storage ottoman of the couch. The TV has Amazon prime as well as Netflix. Please use the guest account when watching. The living room has a desk and chair for you to work at and a credenza filled with family-friendly games and books for you to enjoy.
Entrance: After entering the home's wooden gate, proceed down the the right side of the house, through the black metal gate and to the left across the backyard where you will find the entrance. Please note there are about three steps down when entering the suite.
Neighborhood: Nestled in the heart of East Vancouver at 29th and Fraser Street, this home sits in one of the city’s most vibrant and family-friendly areas. The neighborhood has a true local feel — leafy residential streets meet an energetic stretch of independent shops, bakeries, and cafés just a short stroll away. We are about a 10-15 minute walk to Hillcrest Community Centre (with its pool, gym, and ice rink) and Riley Park, a beautiful green space that hosts the Saturday Farmers Market — one of Vancouver’s best spots for local produce, baked goods, and artisan treats. There is both a grocery store, No Frills, and a pharmacy, Shoppers Drug Mart, a 1 minute walk from the house. Our neighborhood has a variety of cuisines and restaurants to choose from such as, sushi, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, French, and Italian. We also have great coffee shops within a five minute walk from our home like Le Marche St. George and Slo Coffee.
