Located between the southern tip of Lake Windermere and Morecambe Bay, Allithwaite is a friendly village perfect for a peaceful holiday at any time of year. The village has an excellent award winning and very dog friendly pub . Within a short drive is Cartmel, famous for its Sticky Toffee Pudding and a day at the races is always popular. Grange over Sands with its Edwardian promenade, shops and beach, perfect for a day at the seaside is a 5 minute drive away. Lake Windermere is a 20 minute drive, jump aboard the boat at Lakeside an hop off at Waterside or Windermere to explore these popular towns and their shops, art galleries and restaurants. There are numerous nature reserves close by and a vast array of birds and wildlife can be seen at nearby Humphrey Head and Witherslack for the Ospreys.

It is furnished with all you need to enjoy a break away at any time of year, the twin beds can be zipped together to provide a super King size bed making the cottage ideal for a family or 2 couples holidaying together.
