Summary: Very run down and basic but in a great location and relatively clean. All the critical reviews before ours are not inaccurate. Here is our experience: The Miami Beach Boardwalk is very close but the unit can get very noisy at night with vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Collins Ave and with some of the 'windows' being plastic panels with gaps. The shower drain was super slow and backing up but we bought a jug of Draino which helped. The unit has the very basics of what you need to stay in a place (we didn't cook but there's a 2-burner gas stove that is finicky and a hot plate). Though not mentioned in property details, there is A/C and it is strong and quiet. Communication with the rental company was good and they were very responsive. Tips: take the free trolley bus to and from Lincoln Road on the "Collins Express" line to save yourself a $20 rideshare each way; the stop is steps away across the street. CVS and Walgreens are both walking distances away.
