Indulge in Forest Bathing, taking in the forest with all your senses. Mount Washington is a prime destination for skiing as well as for hiking, and only 20 minutes away. While enjoying all aspects of the outdoors, you stay in a home with amazing art, tasteful contents, and skylights leading to lots of natural light. A truly off-grid eco home on well water and septic.
This executive style rental home of 2,000 sqft on 2.6 acres, recently renovated, surprises with lots of space and 100% privacy, lots of daylight from sky lights and large windows - but still is a cosy place for everybody in your group. The 2 main bathrooms just new or renovated in April 2022. A brand new kitchen with top notch appliances was installed in January 2023. You'll be amazed about the quietness and peacefulness of the surroundings! You'll experience a bright, architecturally unique home with a 1,300 sqft deck with ocean view, fully equipped kitchen and large living area. This home sleeps up to six adults.
We have a trunk with cushions for the chairs on the deck, and also a BBQ you may use. Also a picnic area and hammocks. Your hosts may be around tending to our amazing gardens, but we will not intrude whatsoever!
Walk down 15 min to the beach, visit Kitty Coleman Woodland Gardens also in walking distance - places for meditation as well for enjoying an abundance of Rhododendrons in Spring and Summer. The nearby Seal Bay Park with many trails is more than double the size of Vancouver's Stanley Park.
Several golf courses invite you, you may enjoy local spas, wine tasting at the Beaufort Winery 2 miles away, and top restaurants in neighbouring villages.
It is rural and beautiful here, but only 15 min away from the villages of Comox and Courtenay and 35 min from the City of Campbell River, where you find all amenities. We are centrally located on Vancouver Island with Victoria, Tofino or the North Island as destinations for day travels.
