Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The room itself was very nice. Bed was very comfortable, amazing views from the balcony and it was next to the main rooftop swimming pool. The balcony had a sunlounger and comfy chair which was nice in the evening. Shower and bathroom were nice too and there was a rail with hangers for clothes. A/C and a fan both worked great. They provided a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine which was nice. The location is great, lots of small shops and cafes as well as bike and scooter rentals nearby. The beach was a short bike ride away and town centre is about a 20 minute walk away. We did not use the gym but it looked well supplied.

Negative: Check-in was difficult as it was not made clear that the studio apartment was on a different floor to the main apartment. We spent a while trying to open the main apartment door using the code provided before we realised that the lockbox with our apartment key was upstairs. The private pool was very dirty. We asked the host whether we could use cleaning products or if they could send someone to clean it. They said they'd ask the local manager but we never heard any more about it. This didn't impact our stay too much as we were next to the main pool but it is something to note. Also the lighting on the balcony and around the private pool did not work. There was no cleaning products to clean any of the plates/cutlery provided.

Summary: Great for a few nights, could use some upkeep.
