The Forest bungalow reimagines West Virginia's state slogan: "Wild & Wonderful!" With a perfect location, you are only 10 minutes away from the NRG National Park. The home was recently renovated on the inside to ensure you have a clean and fun stay.
*The space*
The Forest is a single-story home that includes everything you need for your getaway. We've prioritized comfort, cleanliness, and the local experience. You'll find light and airy rooms, modern decor, and comfort! Kick back, inside or outside (including our fire pit), and have a great vacation!
Bedroom 1 includes EITHER 2 twin beds OR 1 king, plus a closet. We have a bed connector that allows us to attach the two twins into one king. Let us know at booking, which you prefer.
Bedroom 2 has a queen and closet. Lamps include USB plugs for convenience.
The bathroom is centrally located between the two bedrooms and living room. There is a bathtub / shower combo with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner.
Our dining room seats four comfortably and includes a work space for remote workers (up to 300 mbps internet speeds).
Kitchen is fully stocked with equipment including: dinnerware, silverware, knives, wine glasses, pint glasses, pots & pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, toaster, coffee maker, water kettle, and more!
We have two outdoor areas for your enjoyment: a deck that includes seating and a dining table, plus a fire pit area.
We recently renovated the entire inside and are offering special pricing for a limited time as we finalize outside / window updates over the next few weeks / months.
You'll be surprised and delighted with the decor, storytelling, and history found at The Forest!

You have access to the entire house and grounds, except the finished garage and basement. There are two parking spots available in front of our house. Be sure not to park on the street!
