Summary: I had only two small problems here. 1. I arrived late at night and the parking lot appeared to be completely full. There were cars parked in a dirt field just adjacent to the hotel parking lot, but I couldn't see the entrance to the field from the street, due to almost no lighting on the street. I pulled into the paved lot, not knowing what else to do, and I found literally the only empty spot in the lot. Whew. 2. The check-in clerk and I had a misunderstanding during my check-in. I probably didn't explain my situation clearly. The result was that my credit card was charged twice. It took some doing to unwind the misunderstanding, but the desk clerk called Expedia, figured out whatever was necessary on their end and then reversed the second charge. He was a a gem. Thanks, Jesse, for following through. Everything else about my stay was wonderful. The room was clean, comfortable and lovely. Hot breakfast was very nice. I'd stay here again, but I'd try to arrive before dark.
