This beautiful, spacious, traditional Italian vacation villa is set in a wonderfully quiet position halfway between Florence and Siena in the heart of the Chianti district. It is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and cypress trees in a landscape modeled by centuries of farmers\' patient toil. The views encompass the Castle of Santa Maria Novella and stretch as far as the towers of San Gimignano across the rolling countryside. The house is set on three floors and sleeps up to 10 people. The main villa is spacious (3,250 sf) with five air-conditioned bedrooms-each with a large closet; five bathrooms + 1 wc; a large sitting room with fireplace; a dining room, two small halls; and a large eat-in kitchen with a wood-burning oven. It is furnished elegantly throughout with original antiques. Two loggias, garden with lawn furniture and BBQ, and a 5x10 swimming pool complete the outdoor area. There is a dish washer, washing machine, clothes dryer, large refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, stereo, satellite TV and mosquito screens throughout. There is also internet. The ground floor consists of a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with shower, (there are three steps to access the bedroom), dining room, kitchen, loggia, a WC. The first floor consists of another double bedroom with wardrobe and en suite bathroom (tub and separate shower), a double bedroom with bathroom ensuite (shower) a twin-bedded room with ensuite bathroom with shower, a large living room with fireplace and flat screen SAT TV and access to the loggia. The upper floor consists of a double bedroom with wardrobe and bathroom ensuite (shower).
PLEASE NOTE:
Although totally restored, Villa La Torre maintains its ancient structure therefore isn\'t suitable for people with walking difficulties. The Kitchen, the Dining Room and the ground floor bedroom are located on the ground floor but this level develops on different levels. Guests with walking difficulties should be aware of this. The access to the Top floor bedroom is 10 cm lower than usual so watch your head going up to this bedroom!! Behind Villa La Torre is the other farmhouse, Fienile where the english speaking staff live they are available to help guests with any problems that may arise but will be careful not to intrude on guests’s privacy. The outdoor facilities of the house -- garden, pergola and pool -- are completely private for the guests of the villa.

Villa la Torre is a wonderfully renovated farmhouse that is built around the central structure of an 11th century tower. The villa is located just between Florence and Siena overlooking the Tuscan hills. Elegantly furnished, the villa has a large garden with pool and provides every possible modern convenience. This typical Tuscan villa has been completely restored, taking care to respect its original form. The old structure has been consolidated and when possible the original materials were re-used. Villa la Torre is now part of a 69 acre farm specializing in the production of extra virgin olive oil. The weekly price includes linens, professional pool cleaning twice a week, gardener twice a week and house cleaning 2 hours per day 6 days per week. Bed linen is changed weekly and towels are changed twice each week.
Extra maid service can be provided on an hourly basis at 12 EUR per hour and an extra bed or crib for an additional charge. No more than 3 children allowed. Note that a welcome dinner on your day of arrival is included in the price.
