The Space:
The open plan kitchen, living and dining area features a neutral colour scheme and wooden furniture. The kitchen is slightly separated by a partial wall giving the living and dining area a private and cosy feel. Traditional in style, the kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge.
On the opposite side of the partial wall is the dining area. With a round glass table and four chairs, this is the ideal spot to enjoy meals with the rest of your party. Whether you’ve ordered in a takeaway or you’ve prepared a homecooked meal in the kitchen, the dining area is a great place to socialise and catch up with your loved ones.
The living area features a comfy, leather sofa with a matching armchair and pouffe. Perfect for lounging, you can turn on the TV and catch up on your favourite shows. Your stay will be complete as the apartment also boasts SKY TV and a DVD player so you can truly relax in front of the box.
Head to the first bedroom and you’ll find a tranquil space. With a light colour palette and ambient feel, you’ll feel at home in no time. Walk over the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk and you’ll find yourself at the West side of town. It’s here you can discover cosy pubs, fun arcades and even more fish restaurants! Continue along the lively road until you reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
Getting Around:
The centre of Whitby is a short ten-minute walk from Seal Watch.
Whitby train station is less than half a mile away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
