We built and designed our mountain home on Bills Island as a place of rest and rejuvenation. A place to renew your energy and reconnect with family and friends. A place to play. A place to find peace in nature. A place for families and friends to enjoy being together with plenty of fun activities for kids, teens, and adults.
Isle Haven is a brand new 5 bedroom and 4 bathroom mountain home nestled in 1.6 acres of private forest. The 5th bedroom is also a theater room with a sleeper sofa. Isle Haven was designed by our large family who loves the mountains and the lake. We are excited to share it with you!
The space:
Isle Haven is located on Bill’s Island in Island Park Reservoir. The island is accessed by car on a wide causeway. In the winter 4 wheel drive is strongly recommended due to large amounts of beautiful snow.
Outdoor pickleball and basketball games on our court in the forest will be a highlight of your trip as well soaking in the outdoor hot tub.
Large windows throughout Isle Haven bring the beautiful scenery indoors. The great room with its gas fireplace, carefully selected collection of books and family games is a perfect gathering place. If you like to cook scrumptious meals while on vacation like we do, we have the kitchen for you. It is fully stocked with spices, small appliances, and a high chair. Two dishwashers will make clean-up a breeze. Two refrigerators and 2 pantries are waiting for your food. Mouth watering barbeque will be a delight to cook on the Blackstone Grill on the back deck. If going out to eat while on vacation is your thing, there are a variety of delicious restaurants nearby.
Upstairs you will have hours of fun playing on a slate pool table and ping pong table. The cozy theater room with Xbox is also a bedroom with a large sectional which has a queen sofa sleeper. A theater popcorn popper will complete movie night. The kids, and kids at heart, will love the bunk room with 8 custom built-in twin bunk beds. Four bunk beds have small windows looking out into the forest. The 9th bunk, located up narrow stairs in the attic, has a small window looking into the forest with a bean bag chair. It's a wonderful escape, but not recommended for great-grandma! Also upstairs is the coveted master bedroom with king bed, TV, private balcony perfect for drinks while watching the sunset or stargazing, dedicated workspace, and an ensuite spa bathroom complete with soaker tub. This master bedroom also has a stargazing window for perfect stargazing from the bed. Upstairs is another bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The first floor of Isle Haven is ADA compliant and can accommodate wheelchairs and walkers. One of the first floor master bedrooms has a king bed, TV, and an ensuite bathroom featuring a roll-in double-headed shower. The other first floor master bedroom has a king bed, dedicated workspace, TV, and a private entrance to the hot tub deck. The bathroom is across the hall from this bedroom and has a walk-in shower. An endless supply of hot water from our 2 tankless water heaters ensure hot water for your entire group. When the weather is hot, simply turn on the air conditioning throughout the house. We also have a pack and play and some toys for your kids.
Enjoy playing a game of pickleball or basketball with your family and friends. We provide pickleball racquets and balls as well as basketballs. Corn hole and a giant (2’ tall) chess set are waiting for you. After a few games, the gas fire pit on the large back deck will beckon you for s’mores and campfire stories.
So many fun adventures nearby await you. Yellowstone (a beautiful 40 minute drive away), boating (boat ramp is .5 mile away), swimming in the lake (a short 5 min walk), kayaking and paddle boarding (check out our kayak and paddle board rentals), fishing, floating down peaceful meandering rivers, hiking, biking, 4 wheeling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, sledding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and on and on. There is something for everyone! ATV, boat, sea doo and snowmobile rentals are available nearby.
