Positive: We were a family group of 7 adults staying overnight after a wedding, so this review is based on 10 hours at the property, mostly asleep! Location was quiet and easy to find, beds very comfy, house was spacious and the layout was great - one double bedroom downstairs and 3 upstairs, with a large living room at the back (unused by us). Pool table a bonus!
Negative: The kitchen and bathroom facilities (only 2 in the house - one accessed through the kitchen) would have been difficult to work with had we been staying longer - the house sleeps up to 12 which would be very tricky! The fridge had seemingly not been deep-cleaned - fortunately we were only storing milk. Many of the blinds lacked the adjustment pole, so we could not fully darken the bedroom overnight. And the whole house had a sickly sweet smell that suggested previous guests had vaped or there were scented air fresheners at work. Not good for those of us who are sensitive to such smells.
Summary: Cheap and cheerful, with comfy beds, but not a property we would return to.
