Positive: It’s a beautiful hotel, with an A+ staff consistently keeping the facilities so clean. The team was extremely helpful and made our stay awesome, with the ladies at reception always helping us get to where we needed to go and offering their best local recommendations. It’s close to everything but feels like you’re in a local neighbourhood. We were upgraded to a large room. It’s so spacious, AC was crisp (for Merida heat!), pillows were super fluffy and the bed sleeps firm. Also, the coffee maker and coffee was a really great start to the morning. The hotel is so new, and they just rolled out their breakfast at the end of our stay and it was great: made-to-order eggs, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, yogurt, coffee and orange juice. The pool area on the second floor was great for an evening dip, and that bar area is just getting off the ground. Definitely recommend and will come back soon!
