Positive: We had a great view and a balcony upon which to view it. Took our wine and snacks out and gazed upon snowy Eiger. Far enough away from the main tourist area that traffic noise wasn't a problem, and people weren't constantly walking by our hotel. Breakfast was quite good, and they had a nice outdoor green space. A fairly short walk to the train station without all the activity of being too close to it.
Negative: Their choice of bedding was a bit unusual. I can see the "waffle" type material being a good choice for bedding if you had a sheet between you and the duvet, but to have it be next to your skin, and on the pillow as well...not really the most comfortable. It did look nice tho. I will say...the shower was the smallest I've been in...even by European standards. There would be no washing of feet because bending over would need a contortionist, and if you were a person of large girth...it would be an uncomfortable shower.
Summary: Upgraded to a balcony for the view - which was beautiful!
