Summary: We had a great stay! For the price, you can't beat it having lake front rental with kayaks. Nice views of the lake. Very peaceful. 15-40mins away from great hiking. It was private; sometimes we heard neighbors, but rarely. House on a main road and would hear road noise, but if no cars passing, then it was quiet. We used the kayaks, and I brought my paddleboard. Life jackets were provided. There were a lot of lily pads and the pictures must be older. On the small lake, there was a trail through them, but we could not utilize the full lake for this reason. The dock is very close to the house. Late afternoon shade made the deck perfect for eating dinner. If you go in the summer, you will have to empty the dehumidifier every other day. No big deal, just wanted to mention. There is also a ring camera on the front door that wasn't mentioned in the listing. Nonstick cookware could use an upgrade.I'm listing pros and cons for an honest review, but would absoutely recommed this place. We enjoyed our stay.
