Positive: It’s a newly renovated very clean place. The rooms surround a central kitchen that shared, which is nice because there’s a refrigerator you can use and an espresso maker. If there isn’t a sink or anything to cook with there’s a microwave, but that’s it. The breakfast is ok. It’s mostly just a croissant, yogurt and cereal. I found it very difficult to find. In fact I had a minor meltdown trying to find it after driving all day. The host was very helpful and helped me find the place. He was very kind. It’s on the other side of the train tracks so there’s no cafés or restaurants or shops nearby but it’s a short walk to the main strip in Agrigento. I really warn against using Google maps to walk to town because it took me through a very scary place full of disgusting trash. It’se not that close to the valley of the temples. It’s about a 45 minute walk but at least it’s downhill so it’s not too bad then you can get a taxi back. For the cost, it’s really worth it, but it’s not in town and it lacks Italian charm. It’s kind of sterile. But it’s very clean and very functional and the host is very, very kind and helpful. There is a view of the sea which is nice.
