Shopping, dining, entertainment, swimming, snorkeling, surfing are all within 1/2 mile of this property. The pool at the complex is nestled in the center, and offers a quiet peaceful place to swim and hang out.
Kona Kai B2 is a very nicely updated unit on the 2nd floor. Air conditioning and engineered wood flooring help to keep the condo cool and comfortable.
This unit comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and a small cooler for guests use. It may or may not have some snorkel gear that was left by previous guests. We do not provide snorkel gear. Non-fitting snorkel gear takes all the fun out of snorkeling, so it is best to rent your equipment while you are here.

Summary: I gave a rating of 3 because, while the location was fantastic, the condo itself was poorly equipped. The kitchen was very understocked, utensils were covered in a greasy residue. The plasticware had a strong, unpleasant odor that seeped into the food, making it unusable.Many of the items in the property were either almost broken or simply didn’t work at all (like the hairdryer), and the air conditioning units were in desperate need of a filter change and a deep cleaning.As a two-bedroom condo, we expected enough beach equipment for four people, but there was only enough for two. The chairs we were provided were ancient, bulky, and uncomfortable, pool noodles were disintegrating. The pillows were stained yellow and worn out and the polyester sheets were cheap, hot and uncomfortable;in addition to very sunken mattresses.It’s unfortunate because, with better amenities, our experience could’ve been much better. The unit owner should update the condo’s furnishings to meet rental expectations.On a positive note, the management and grounds team were extremely helpful, friendly, and responsive. We would consider staying here again, but not in this particular unit.
