Summary: The receptionist saw us at the door and did not open it. We had to knock and get the attention of another guest, who eventually opened it for us. She then questioned whether breakfast was really included for two people. I did not understand the question, since it was clearly stated in the reservation and it was a booking for a couple. I asked for a late check-out and received a loud no. I then asked if we could leave our luggage in the morning, and she also said no. When I asked if there was any alternative solution, she replied: “Leave it in the car.” We arrived by train. Then, she walked away and left me talking to myself. Extremely rude behavior. At dinner, I asked if it would be possible to take the food to the room, and she said: “Take the plate and carry it yourself.” That is what we did. The next day, with another hotel staff member, I tried again to request a late check-out and luggage storage, even offering to pay an extra half-day. The response was completely different: “Ok, you can stay until 1:00 PM. You just can’t stay longer because the hotel is fully booked.” A total difference in attitude and professionalism. None of the power outlets in the room worked. Only the bathroom outlet functioned. A hotel without an elevator cannot be considered a 3-star hotel. This type of staff behavior is unacceptable.
